Day 88 Just missed the day by an hour and 15 as I start writing this, you know what I'm gonna start enforcing an actual 11:59pm deadline, so at least I can actually write about the day itself as opposed to writing about (technically) the following day and that way it isn't the one thing that keeps me away from laying in bed and knocking out. I mean I want to be asleep within the next half an hour and this is eating into my YouTube time.
So today has been very short from when I woke up that is, I woke up around 2 or so and just remained in bed until about 4, then properly went to wash up around 4:15 and after that, thought why not have a bath and eventually got in around 10 to 5. was in there for seemed an enternity but was closer to 45 mins to an hour, I actually don't know.
As soon as I stepped out I was called for dinner, I quietly collected my food and put on Trigun and watched and ate, minding my own business, after I ate (which admittedly took awhile) I staggered back upstairs and then got busy playing with my niece, haven't been spending that much time with her so that was nice, I read her little books to her, she demolished my blocks I was building, good times. She ran off and as did I back into my room, had a catchup with my friend, was on the phone maybe half an hour or maybe a bit longer and then hung up.
After that I've just been in my room, either at my desk or laying down, basically on YouTube for the last 6 hours (damn it's been 6 hours) time flew tho at some points I was getting less sleepy and then more, at the moment I feel like I'm in the middle somewhere, but I do want to go lightsout and just relax at somepoint. It's been the first time in awhile I've been looking forward to being in that state, mainly because these last few days I have consumed a shit ton of media.
I even tried getting a couple of friends to jump out around 10ish but to no avail, it's just one of those Sundays. Yesterday, I jumped out around 9ish, I got KFC after I woke up for a two hour nap that I didn't realise I had taken. I actually finished eating around 9:40 and left shortly after.
I had two parts to my outing, first part being the group get together where there were just loads of us but after an hour or so it slowly began to shrink. Until there were just 3 of us. The usual 3. We then left around half 1 and dropped off friend 1. As he lives further away from the driver friend.
Second part of the outing was a long ass catchup with the driver friend which went on for about an hour and a half, probably even two hours I think. All I do know it was a long fucking chat we had. Ended up going for a drive, went maccies inbetween and then returned back home around half 3, 4.
Normally that's when my night would end. But not this night, I didn't want to sleep, I wasn't in the mood and I just couldn't push myself to sleep so I ended up staying awake. Now I barely recall half the shit I did, I was on netflix, then YouTube and then more YouTube then some reading then back and forth constantly. Until it was about 9 am and that's when I started falling asleep, now my body was indeed begging for it and my mind couldn't refuse, so I fell asleep. To then wake up at 2pm.
That's my weekend a series of very little sleep, too much media consumption and fuck knows what else. Hopefully I can fix my sleeping over the course of the week, I'm only going to go out twice this week also. So let's see what's up.
That'll be all for now. I hope to be asleep by 2 am now, and this post has taken me longer than I would have liked; literally ate into all my time before I was supposed to sleep.
