Day 68 to 72 (I think) Umm so yeah I'm back. It seems like these long pauses are becoming increasingly popular with myself and honestly it's not something I wanted to do and at times needed to do.
So let's begin shall we; so Sunday I finished my Saturday post (Day 67) it had becoming increasingly so, where I'd end up writing really late in the day or in the morning, to be honest my schedule was over the place and it was more of a reflection of myself at that stage. So my Sister and Brother-in-law had come over for the long weekend and on Sunday woke, went down and then got told my move my now (kinda large) book collection. My manga, and other books had been temporarily living in one of reception rooms in my house (it had been there for a year or so at that point) and was told they had to be shifted to my bedroom. It was waiting for this day, because if I had decided to move it myself then I'd get no help but because it was told to me then I got my help and then shifted everything up to my room. Now this process took a couple of days longer than it should have, mainly due to; being busy with family and going out to see friends.
So later that day we went to get some bobba from this local spot (well I say local it was another twon but like 20 mins away), literally got there 3 mins before it was about to close. Now it was no Chatime and to be honest my sister can make better at home, but it was convenient and 5 drinks cost us like 17 buck, so can't go wrong. After that, BIL, Brother and I went out for a bit, chilled and made our way home as my sister had forgotten her house key. We ended up chatting til like 2/3 in the morning and I made my way to bed, I then ended up sleeping around maybe 4 or 5 as I had started to watch The Gentlemen (damn good Movie #3WoL) and then I fell asleep.
I wasn't able to write for a couple of reason, 1.) Could not be fucked that late into the night as I was super tired & 2.) I couldn't find spare time during the day.
Monday through to today has pretty much been the same day but repeated 5 times over, only difference being Monday was bank holiday and today I switched on my PC. I didn't manage to finish clearing my desk until about yesterday I think it was, everyday I had been sleeping extremely late post 5am, every morning I'd wake up super tired, no discipline, pure tiredness during the day, hell on one of the nights, I fell asleep at 7pm. I watch Avatar: The Last Airbender through to completion (which was last night/this morning) (It's so good) I even overslept today, on the worst day due to having a meeting at 11:30, luckily I woke up at 12pm, and not any later.
I've just been stuck in a productivity rut all week, I know why, my tiredness restricts everything. Literally EVERYTHING and honestly I wanted to stay up, I wanted to push back the next day, I've been delaying this entire week and for what. I felt like I threw this entire week away, I can't even lie and say I needed a break because this was far from it. It added more tiredness and stress onto my plate on a daily basis because things just kept piling up and I kept ignoring it. Next week is going to be very busy which is why I decided to get a jump start today.
I made my usual mind clear list of things I want to complete and slowly I've been making my way through them. I even added a time limit for some of them to help drive me to that point of having them done and out the way before the weekend. The more I can do now, the better the workflow, as I can actually do things on time.
That basically sums up my wasted week if you will, the only good things from it was; Avatar, a couple of good movies and my manga is finally upstairs.
But hopefully back to frequent posts and tasks being done and productivity increasing and hopefully I stop being so reckless and start sleeping on time. I really, really build that structure and discipline once again.
