Day 312 Say, isn't it wild. That we do so much but we rely on others to make ourselves feel better. As if all of our efforts and work are all just a means of seeking gratitude from someone else. Relying on that person to say good job, well done. Then we'll feel better about ourselves.

Instead of seeking approval from within we want it from everyone and their dads. I know it's so cliche but I guess we'd all live somewhat happier lives but our society runs on the approval factor. Everything is measured by it from celebrity culture, to politicians to you getting that promotion at work.

We live and die by approval, and then we get worried when Black Mirror do an episode of popularity ratings, like we don't already live in that kind of world. Only difference is; that it's digitalised.
